• passwords, verification codes or login information

• unnecessary copies of bank, pension or investment statements

• anything you would not want stored in your AI platform history

 

Use rounded figures, ranges and anonymised descriptions wherever possible.

 

How AI is used

Academy OS uses AI as a structured thinking assistant.

 

It can help you:

• organise information

• model scenarios using estimates

• surface trade-offs and risks

• draft planning outputs or next-step summaries

 

AI is not used as:

• a regulated advice file

• a permanent client record

• identity verification

• transaction execution

Where your information is processed

When you use a Chat App, your entries are processed inside the AI platform you are using, such as Claude, ChatGPT or another provider.

 

Those platforms operate under their own terms, privacy policies and data processing arrangements. Their cloud infrastructure may be outside the UK.

 

The Academy of Life Planning does not receive, download or store your chat content unless you choose to send it to us separately.

 

Using these tools for complaints, disputes or legal matters

Some Academy OS tools help you organise facts, timelines, evidence and decisions.

They are not legal services.

 

Content created using these tools is not covered by legal professional privilege. If your situation becomes part of a formal complaint, investigation or legal process, documents you create may be reviewed.
