For fourteen years, the Academy of Life Planning has developed a practical alternative: people owning their information, understanding their options and making their own decisions, with experienced human support when it matters.
Now we want to help more practitioners deliver it.

Our Founding Campaign brings together people who believe in that future. You can support the mission, purchase tools and support for yourself, or take your next step towards becoming a Total Wealth Planner.

£10,000 will help us support 10 more financial advisers in building a new livelihood around agency-led planning.

That means helping practitioners connect a sound planning method, practical AI tools and human expertise into a service people can understand and buy.

The work includes helping them shape their proposition, develop their competence and put their learning into practice.
​
For the people they serve, the purpose is simple: greater ability to understand, choose and act across life and money.

Professional pathways support your development towards Total Wealth Planner accreditation. Accreditation depends on completing the applicable learning and assessment requirements. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months. The recipient chooses an available appointment.

I’m Steve Conley, founder of the Academy of Life Planning, Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Insurer.

My experience includes senior roles at HSBC, RBS, Santander and Royal London. I founded the Academy in 2012 to help people build the capability to shape their own lives and financial decisions.
​
Since then, the work has grown into planning methods, practical apps, professional training and a community of practitioners.

The principle remains the same:

Do I have to become a practitioner?
No. You can support the mission, use the apps, join the community, book a session or give a meeting to someone else.
​
I already belong to the Academy. Can I take part?
Yes. You may receive a personal invitation reflecting your existing membership, programme access or previous training. Follow the instructions in that invitation before purchasing.
​
Is Academy OS included in Academy Membership?
Academy OS app access is a separate, optional support subscription. My Life Record remains free. Your record and saved information remain accessible if your app subscription becomes inactive.

When does my purchase begin?
